2008 Most Helpful Social Networking Tool

Have you been able to utilize social networking tools (see video below) to build relationships and connect with a variety of people this year? What do you use them for? I’ve posted here and here on why I use Twitter. Do you use social networking sites at all?

    I voted Twitter, but wanted to vote Facebook, personal blog and email as well. I think the combination is required. Twitter provides the connection, but there needs to be an avenue for longer discussion.

    I use Facebook to stay connected with people I know, or people that I knew years ago. Twitter has become more of a fun little outlet for me that helps me connect with many people I’ve never met. My blog is one of those places that I plan on using a bit more wisely this year. I really enjoy blogging and it can connect you with so many different people from all over the world. The possibilities are amazing and I really should utilize them better. I love social networking on the internet.
